Hello humans,
It’s been another busy month showing my new rescue sister around. Lola got to go on her first litterpick with Llanberis Tidy village community group on Sunday morning. Apparently she was very well behaved and patient in following the litterpick trolley. Woof…wasn’t too impressed to hear Lola had been rewarded home made dog biscuits and didn’t save me one. Being rather miffed, I took it upon myself to eat Lola’s share of Pero training treats that day.
All dogs who come into rescue are neutered to stop any more unwanted litters or breeding for profit. Having recently had a litter before coming into rescue a few months earlier, it was now time to visit the vets.
What do you think of human’s creation modelled out of one of the teenagers t-shirts as a deterant to stop Lola taking her stitches out?! Lots of people thought human liked dressing her up…until it was explained it was because she was recovering from a operation.
Over the bank holiday, human has been busy in the garden, weeding and planting borders, unfortunately it’s not that easy with 3 under 5s (small humans and two rescue dogs) wanting to help too. So human gave up and we had picnic in the garden on a big blanket. Small human served our Pero triangle shaped biscuits (especially for staffys!)on a tea set and we had pretend tea (water) from little cups. I think the cats where a bit jealous as they where all watching us from behind the hedge.
Woof…Must go time to bark at the Postman, the chickens and the socks on the washing line…
