Hello Humans
We’ve been very busy supervising and helping the human around the garden, with planting, weeding and cutting the grass.
Not very impressed that we were left at home whilst human and the small human went to the nearby garden nursery to choose plants to plant in the borders.
As Lola-Magnolia (aka the Silent Staffie) was helping with the digging, I was busy barking at the cats and chickens (that back fired when Gloria the white chicken decided to give chase after me and the rest of the chickens did too). I also spent time following the small human about as there was ice cream in hand. We’ve also been making sure the big green slide is safe for sliding (see photo)
Lots been going on garden wise, new water butt installed outside the garage, hedges cut and the big grasses set on fire! Yes, human cut the pampas grass then set it on fire (wants to move it but needs to dig it out first). I think human has inherited setting these of fire from Grandpa Human. We came back one day to find our garden on fire…well the pampas grasses on fire (according to Grandpa Human they would grow better the following year…which has now resulted in the grasses taking over the garden!)
We’ve been litterpicking as usual on our walks and on Sunday mornings with Llanberis Tidy Village, stil lots of those disposal coffee cups, plastic bottles, lids and elastic bands the postman has dropped. But it far worse when it’s the recycling collection day then its margarine tubs, plastic bottles, plastic bags (basically items blown out of the lorry as it speeds off).
We got stopped twice by people asking if it was us on the ITV Coast and Country episode about litterpicking… apparently we are a very distinctive duo on a double dog lead!
After the success of the Pero biscuit cheese cake (did I tell you that Grandma Human had thought it was for sharing and human had to shout ‘PUT THE CHEESECAKE DOWN, ITS FOR THE DOGS!’) Anyway Human is now planning on trying to make some biscuits…
Woof
