Woof!
We’ve had a lovely time over August, visited the beach during the evening, several time and and a paddle and run about with our small human.
We saw lots and lots of what human called ‘Jelly fish’ and were told on several occasions to keep clear. The teenage humans where home a lot, because it was something called ‘school holidays’ didn’t see them much during the day because the sat in front of the telebox with some strange box in their hand and funny things over their ears. We did go into their bedroom several time and sit beside them but we do t think the even noticed…they only sent us out when Lili-Mcvitie started barking.
Grandma and Grandad Human looked after us whilst humans were at work and small human was at Nursery. We followed Grandad Human around the garden and back and forth to his garage. Grandma Human gave us lots of treats (even though Human warned her not too). She gave us mashed potatoes with Pero biscuits soaked in water to make, what she called ‘dog gravy). She also brushed us a lot too…we sat in the shade being brushed until we felt sleepy. Grandma said it was very therapeutic, whatever that means.
There have been more butterflies in our garden, especially around the lilac trees, it was magical and they didn’t even fly away when there was lots of barking.
The best news ever is that Lola-Magnolia came 2nd in the ‘Best Rescue’ category at the Freshfields Animal Rescue Dog Show and got a blue rosette. I was entered in the ‘Best Crossbreed’ category but didn’t win anything…but I got plenty of humans stopping to stroke me and lots of compliments about my ears!
It’s supper time, I can hear the human scooping biscuits into our bowls.
Woof
