Hello Humans
Hope you’re all ok, it’s Lola-Magnolia here
We haven’t been on our group litterpicking events recently due to the weather, but it hasn’t stopped us on our local walks. We’ve also been helping Human to quickly plant more now sprouted flower bulbs which Grandma Human had left in the greenhouse over the winter.
Hope Storm Ciara hasn’t caused you too much damage…we’ve only quickly run into the garden and back for toilet breaks, cats have stayed in their garage and chickens are only standing in their coop door watching leaves whirl past them.
Human’s flag pole in the garden snapped in half, the big fake owl (seagull scarer) on top of the garage is now on its side and all our trees have lost whatever leaves they had. But on a more positive note our mole hills have suffered no damage! Human says the mole hills are nature’s way of saving her to go and buy compost in nasty plastic bags.
As we’re inside more recently (not spending time pottering around the garden as we do), do the radio has been on. Human has found that Classic FM calms Lili-Mcvitie down from yapping at everything, from wind, rain hitting the windows to the kettle boiling. She drives me to distraction, so it leaves me no choice but to only burry my self under our blanket, to cancel out her yapping, or I roll over and try to smother her from barking.
Our latest Pero biscuits receipts is natural yogurt with a sprinkling of crushed Pero biscuits on top…even the cats enjoy it. We’re planning to walk some of the Snowdonia Slate Trail this year, it’s 83 miles in total, passing through the former slate villages of Bethesda, Capel Currig, Penmachno Llanffestiniog, Beddgelert, and Llanberis.
