Woof and welcome to 2019!
We’ve been a bit lazy this month, done a bit of local litterpicking on a walks, a bit of gardening (when possible), recommending Pero Pet foods on other dog owners we meet and baring a lot (so much so Human has now got one of those things you plug in and everytime i start ‘machine gun barking’ it sends a loud beep that only us canines can hear, itsy to basically tell me to shut up! I’ve found it doesn’t work if I bark underneath it…..
We did attend our first “Dog Christmas Pawtry” in the Market Hall in Caernarfon. It was organised by one of the local @DogFuriendly volunteers, Emma and her sausage dog called Seth. It had stalls selling things for dogs, food for humans, dog fancy dress competition and a chance to have your photo taken with Father Christmas. We met lots of other well behaved dogs there and only came across one very diva pug with attitude.
I’m booked in for a serious fur cut at the groomers very soon, my coat has so thick and woolly I’m starting to smell as quoted by one of my miserable teenage humans “the small woolly one smells of out of date digestive biscuits”. WHAT?! seriously teenagers don’t smell that great either. I suppose I haven’t helped by rolling in chicken poo at every opportunity, it’s sticky, smelly and nearly impossible to wash out of my thick coat.
We’ve been spending a lot of time having picnics in small human’s indoor play house. Basically we are all squashed in with lots a soft toys eating Pero treats and biscuits that the small human has taken from the kitchen cupboard.
We’ll be back on Sunday mornings litterpicking with Llanberis Tidy Village at the end of the month too for the first litterpick of 2019.
